You are invited to join us midweek during Lent for worship, a meal and reflections on BONHOEFFER’S BLACK JESUS: HARLEM RENAISSANCE THEOLOGY AND AN ETHIC OF RESISTANCE by Reggie Williams. Dietrich Bonhoeffer is one the church’s leading theologians. His theology of the cross was deeply influenced by his study in New York during the Harlem Renaissance and by his encounter with the people and worship of Abyssinian Baptist Church. We’ll engage Bonhoeffer’s Black Jesus and the artists of the Harlem Renaissance each week.

Worship: 7:00 – 7:20 PM in the chapel

Meal and Reflection: 7:30 – 8:30 PM
