We’ve got beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes — you name it! Ok, that might be an exaggeration, but look how robust the garden is! The first beautiful tomatoes and cucumbers have been harvested and will be distributed to Partner Arms residents.
There is still much to do both to care for the garden as well as to consider how to share this gift with CLC and broader community.
The next gardening day is Tuesday, August 30 at 7:00 PM. Please join us in tending this part of God’s creation. All ages and gardening abilities welcome. If you are unable to join us, a sign up is available in the narthex to provide care for the garden during the week.
Questions or ideas? Please reach out to Errol Arthur, Elise and Lamar Bailey, Paul McLaughlin, or Lee Schray.
