A candlelight prayer vigil organized by Pastor Melody was featured on NBC4 News Saturday, February 24. The vigil was organized in response to the killing of Jeremy Johnson on the corner of Georgia Avenue & Shepherd Street NW and was an effort by Ward 4 Clergy Against Gun Violence to help bring healing. Sarah McLaughlin, Paul McLaughlin, Phil Collins and Pr. Renata participated, along with neighborhood faith leaders including Rev. Scott Bostic and Rev. Patricia Fears. See the segment HERE.
